This app worked to mute and unmute my mic a few times, but within two hours of my first use, that basic functionality broke and "permanently" muted my mic. And if you have this app set to auto-start with Windows, I can see why some people get confused because it immediately breaks your mic whenever you start your PC.
The mute command sets all output levels to 0. The speaker, line, mic, pcm, cd commands should be followed by a number, for example, use "volumecontrol pcm 40" to set the pcm level to 40. Features to be added before version 1.0: * add full ALSA support * add volume themes * additional testing
