IPv6 is a new version of the IP protocol that allows your site to reach areas of the world where connectivity via IPv4 is not possible due to the lack of IP addresses. For now, IPv6 is not enabled by default on all Netlify sites, if you use Netlify DNS you need to enable it explicitly in your Domains dashboard.
Domain alias: Netlify term for additional custom domains assigned to a site. Domain registrar (or domain registration service): company that lets you register a domain name. DNS provider: company that maintains the DNS servers that translate a domain name to a destination. Netlify DNS: Netlify’s managed DNS service.
Users added to your Netlify account can be given access to all sites within the team, or only specific sites. You can restrict who can create sites, edit site settings, add or remove team members, manage billing information and more.
You can change a site’s default Netlify subdomain by selecting the Options button next to the subdomain in the Custom domains panel, then selecting Edit site name in the dropdown. To add a custom domain, select Add custom domain at the bottom of the Custom domains panel, and enter your domain name.
